I've been waiting to hear more about how ridiculous the "raw food fad" really is. Why? I have Crohn's Disease. Raw food makes me sick. There is no way I can absorb the nutrients from most "raw" food - particularly high in fiber. I throw it right back up. My body is already telling me not to eat raw food. It wouldn't stay in my body long enough to be absorbed anyway. This is popular with some (for lack of a better term) "New Agey" friends who I can't convince that it's bad for me. Thank you for your postings AND your terrific blog.

Skeptoid is one of my favourite podcasts, and one of only 2 my 14 year old will listen to willingly. It's great as it generates a lot of discussion with him - which as any parent of a teenage boy can tell you is not always easy - and teaches him critical thinking without him realizing it. Bonus! Your choices were 1st rate. An excellent list.
